
A godot indie game by Nocturnal Humans
Welcome to the first devlog for Project Walkers, an indie roguelite game built in Godot! This project is still in its early stages, but I’m excited to share the progress so far.
What is Project Walkers?
Project Walkers is a fast-paced roguelite where players explore procedurally generated environments, battle enemies, and unlock upgrades to survive longer. Each run is different, encouraging adaptability and strategy.
Progress So Far
Basic Movement
The core movement system is in place with some advanced movement mechanics
Dash Mechanic
Players can now dash to evade attacks and navigate quickly
Mouse Aiming & Shooting
Players can now use the mouse to aim attacks for better precision
Enemy AI
Basic enemy behavior is working, making combat more dynamic.
Next Steps
- Improve enemy AI to create more engaging battles.
- Refine the combat mechanics for better responsiveness.
- Add more environmental details to enhance the atmosphere.
- Experiment with different upgrade paths to offer more variety.
